Week 4 of my LDT300x course on Digital Media, New Tools and Technology went very well. However, I have been late in completing my courses since the past few weeks, which is why I am late in posting my blog as well.

So, Week 4 moved on from talking about individual technological tools that help in instructional design and development of e-learning tools, and transitioned towards talking about how various aspects of technology and digital media should be brought together and incorporated into learning experiences by teachers, trainers and instructional designers. The module talked about best practices that should be followed by teachers, trainers and instructional designers to give their learners the best possible e-learning experience.

For the Week 4 activity, learners were required to design a training activity that could be used within a curriculum/training plan. The training activity was to be only be a small activity that could take place within a larger training/learning plan, and the plan was to contain a single learning objective that could incorporate an element(s) of technology to supplement the instruction/learning experience.

For my task, I designed an activity on Exploring the Functioning of the Human Heart through a Simulation.

My training activity can be found at this link.

Hope you all like it!

Thanks!
